Newcastle v Norwich - Tuesday, 30th November (7:30pm)
Ryan Kirk
Two very poor sides that are going to be fighting for survival come the end of the season. To be fair to Dean Smith, he’s started well since being appointed following his exit from Aston Villa, but the individual quality in the players on show is what I think will determine the final result in this one.
Prediction: 2-1
Harry Reynolds
It’s very clear to see that Dean Smith has seriously improved Norwich in just two weeks in the role. They arguably should’ve beaten Wolves on Saturday, which would’ve made it three straight league wins. Eddie Howe, on the other hand, hasn’t had an immediate impact at Newcastle, who are still winless. This is a massive game for both teams, and I think they’ll cancel each other out.
Prediction: 1-1
Chris Stott
This for me is the most important game of the week. Yes, most would look at the Merseyside derby and United vs Arsenal as the biggest in terms of rivalry, but for purely points this game is huge! Norwich have turned a corner after looking doomed and kept a much needed clean sheet at home to Wolves. Newcastle face a massive week starting here and simply have to win or face an enormous task. While they showed some promise in attack against Brentford they really offered very little at Arsenal until late on. For me, the only way this side wins games is if they look to outscore the opposition as they are not good enough at the back to keep clean sheets. I think they should and will go after Norwich and if they do they can hurt them.
Prediction: 2-0
Joe Richardson: 2-1
Chris Coughlin: 2-1
Leeds v Crystal Palace - Tuesday, 30th November (8:15pm)
Chris Coughlin
Palace weren't themselves against Aston Villa on Saturday but they weren't allowed to be in all fairness. Leeds are still Patrick Bamford, however, and you can tell it impacts on their style of play as they were pretty toothless against Brighton barring some late opportunities. I can see this being a really open contest given the style of the two teams.
Prediction: 1-1
Ryan Kirk: 1-1
Harry Reynolds: 1-1
Chris Stott: 1-1
Joe Richardson: 1-1
Southampton v Leicester - Wednesday, 1st December (7:30pm)
Chris Coughlin
This fixture has had some remarkable results in this fixture recently, not least in the video above. (Sorry Joey!) Saints had been on a good run until recently but their poor result at Norwich was followed by a thumping at Liverpool. When I saw their line-up, I simply couldn't understand by Hassenhuttl went into the game with three strikers and, although they created chances at Anfield, they got ripped apart for the most part. Leicester have picked up over the last week and Vardy was back on form against Watford after a lean spell. It won't be 9-0 but I think it'll be a Leicester win.
Prediction: 1-3
Harry Reynolds
Ralph Hassenhuttl seems to be sleep walking into trouble with Southampton, yet nothing ever gets said about his job security. The tactics in the first half at Anfield on Saturday were suicidal and they duly got battered, and Leicester will be well up for this after betting four against Watford. I think this will be a comfortable away victory.
Prediction: 0-2
Ryan Kirk: 1-3
Chris Stott: 1-3
Joe Richardson: 2-2
Watford v Chelsea - Wednesday, 1st December (7:30pm)
Chris Coughlin
Watford have been such a strange team this season. They've shipped nine goals combined against Liverpool and Leicester but have scored the same amount against Everton and Manchester United. They'll do well to break down the Chelsea defence, however, which looked as solid as ever against United on Sunday other than a careless moment on halfway from Jorginho. I fully expect the Blues to return to winning ways here.
Prediction: 0-2
Ryan Kirk: 0-2
Harry Reynolds: 0-3
Chris Stott: 0-2
Joe Richardson: 1-3
West Ham v Brighton - Wednesday, 1st December (7:30pm)
Harry Reynolds
Graeme Potter was understandably bemused at the reaction he got from the Brighton fans after their 0-0 draw with Leeds, as his team were booed at the final whistle. They are 8th in the table, but haven’t won for eight games now, and that will probably extend to nine at the London Stadium. West Ham have been excellent this season and this is a good chance to get back on the winning trail after consecutive defeats.
Prediction: 2-0
Ryan Kirk: 1-0
Chris Stott: 2-1
Joe Richardson: 2-0

Wolves v Burnley - Wednesday, 1st December (7:30pm)
Chris Coughlin
This fixture last season brought around one of the most surprising results of the campaign as a Chris Wood inspiring display saw the Clarets hit four at Molineux. I certainly can't see such an emphatic result either way this time however. Wolves will have been disappointed not to have continued their good run against Norwich but, in all honestly, they were fortunate not to lose at Carrow Road. Burnley had a weekend off after their game against Tottenham was called off due to a snowfall but haven't won away this season yet and I'm going for that run to continue.
Prediction: 2-1
Ryan Kirk: 2-0
Harry Reynolds: 1-0
Chris Stott: 1-0
Joe Richardson: 2-2
Aston Villa v Man City - Wednesday, 1st December (8:15pm)
Ryan Kirk
What a return to Premier League life it’s been for Steven Gerrard. Two wins out of two for the Villa boss, but a huge game on Wednesday night as he faces his toughest test in his managerial career, so far. Something tells me he’ll continue his unbeaten run.
Prediction: 2-2
Chris Stott
Steven Gerrard has enjoyed a very positive start at Villa Park. This is by far and away his toughest test. City have been terrific on the road and rarely look like conceding. This is a chance for Villa and Gerrard to show what they are made of and how much the side have improved under their new boss. We expect Chelsea to win at Watford ad with City in derby action, it's crucial for City that they get the right result. I will back them to do that, but not without a fight.
Prediction: 1-2
Harry Reynolds: 1-3
Joe Richardson: 1-2
Chris Coughlin: 0-2
Everton v Liverpool - Wednesday, 1st December (8:15pm)
Ryan Kirk
Liverpool are the clear favourites going into the Merseyside Derby, after recording back to back 4-0 wins in the Premier League. Saying that, I expect Rafa Benitez’s side to put up a fight in their attempt to bounce back following a disappointing run. Unfortunately for the Toffees, I do fear it’ll be another defeat for them as the pressure mounts on the former Liverpool Manager.
Prediction: 1-3
Harry Reynolds
This is the worst possible fixture for Everton on their current run. Liverpool haven’t lost at Goodison since 2010, and I don’t see any scenario how that ends here short of the Reds playing a team filled with their under 12s. I think this will be brutal to be frank, and it could be so bad that it spells the end for Rafa Benitez. It was seriously toxic in the away end at Brentford on Sunday following a run of two points from 21 available, and no goals in three games; god knows what it’ll be like if Liverpool do what they’re capable of in this fixture.
Prediction: 0-4
Chris Stott: 0-2
Joe Richardson: 0-3
Chris Coughlin: 0-2
Spurs v Brentford - Thursday, 2nd December (7:30pm)
Chris Coughlin
Whilst it meant an extended rest for Spurs, their postponement against Burnley was probably the last thing Antonio Conte wanted after their Europe Conference League debacle against NS Mura in Slovenia. As for Brentford, it was big win for them against Everton to end a poor recent run even if the performance wasn't expecting scintillating. I'm still trying to figure out Spurs under Conte but I think they'll win here.
Prediction: 2-0
Ryan Kirk: 2-1
Harry Reynolds: 2-1
Chris Stott: 2-0
Joe Richardson: 2-0
Man Utd v Arsenal - Thursday, 2nd December (8:15pm)
Chris Coughlin
One a guaranteed battle for the title, both sides are in very different places right now. We'll have to wait and see if this is Ralf Rangnick's first game in charge of the hosts as he awaits his work visa while Mikel Arteta has certainly turned around Arsenal's poor start to the campaign. There've been many classics between these sides down the years as they fought for English football's biggest honours. Will we see another as they aim to strengthen their European credentials for next season?
Prediction: 2-1
Ryan Kirk: 1-1
Harry Reynolds: 0-0
Chris Stott: 2-1
Joe Richardson: 2-1
