Each week, Matchday FM pundit Chris Coughlin will bring you his Team of the Week from the top flight, as well as some honourable mentions who just missed the cut.
Goalkeeper: David Raya - Brentford
One of the goalkeepers of the season so far and David Raya kept up that form against West Ham.
He made three huge saves in the 2-1 win and looks right at home in the top flight.
Raya has also played in 101 of Brentford's last 105 league games including playoffs, so his defenders know they have a capable man between the sticks.
Right-back: Cesar Azpilicueta - Chelsea
The Spaniard is enjoying a superb 2021.
Having become a European Cup winning captain and making his mark with Spain at international level, the 32-year-old was integral to Chelsea's win over Saints.
He set up Timo Werner for the goal that re-established Chelsea's lead before crashing a shot off the upright which led to Ben Chilwell's match clinching strike.
Centre-back: Diego Llorente - Leeds
After so many injury issues in his time at Leeds, this was a great moment for Llorente.
It was a finish any forward would be proud of as he turned home the loose ball to provide the decisive breakthrough to earn Leeds an overdue first league win of the season.
Centre-back: Lewis Dunk - Brighton
A superb centre-back who can count himself very unfortunate to only have one England cap to his name.
For me, especially given Brighton's start to the season, he shouldn't be getting overlooked by Gareth Southgate and he was at his commanding best again to ensure Brighton claimed a point at home to a resurgent Arsenal.
Left-back: Charlie Taylor - Burnley
I'm a fan of Charlie Taylor's all round game and I thought he was superb against Norwich, even if his delivery didn't result in the breakthrough the Clarets were looking for.
It's been a tough start for Sean Dyche's side who are set to be without Ben Mee for their trip to Manchester City, a game that many are realistically seeing as a free hit.
Centre-midfield: Michael Olise - Crystal Palace
With Palace remarkably trailing Leicester 2-0, they needed a spark and got it in the shape of summer signing Michael Olise.
It was an instinctive finish by the former Reading man, lashing home his first Eagles goal at the second attempt after his initial shot was blocked.
It was the first we've really seen of Olise in the top flight but he is evidence of the exciting youthful revolution taking place at Selhurst Park
Centre-midfield: Abdoulaye Doucoure - Everton
In terms of the season so far, Abdoulaye Doucoure would make my league starting XI.
He's had a brilliant start and has relished the opportunity to play a more attacking role under Rafa Benitez.
That willingness to get forward was evident at Old Trafford as he joined the clinical counter-attack to tee up Andros Townsend for a deserved equaliser.
Centre-midfield: Bernardo Silva - Manchester City
For an attacking midfielder, this was as good as you can possibly play without claiming either a goal or an assist.
Bernardo Silva's control of the football at Anfield was as if he had it on a string.
He was unfortunate not to gain an assist after playing Foden in on goal and rightly felt aggrieved not to have drawn a second yellow card from James Milner.
A truly wonderful, technical display.
Right-wing: Mohamed Salah - Liverpool
Almost every week this season, Mo Salah is making headlines & breaking milestones and he did it once again in the final match of the gameweek.
Liverpool were being thoroughly outplayed by Manchester City at Anfield until Salah took the game by the scruff of the neck.
First the Egyptian King set up Sadio Mane for a well-taken opener before restoring the Reds' lead with a goal of the season contender, beating Bernardo Silva and Laporte on route to rifling home a sensational finish.
Liverpool have to get his contract situation sorted, without question.
Striker: Hwang Hee-Chan - Wolves
Has Molineux found a new hero?
The South Korean have three goals since arriving on loan from RB Leipzig after a frustrating spell in Germany, as he looks to rediscover the form which made him a coveted talent at Salzburg.
The defending for Hwang's first against Newcastle was questionable but his second was a clinical strike as Bruno Lage's men made it consecutive wins for the first time in the Portuguese's reign.
Left-wing: Phil Foden - Manchester City
This lad is good. Very good.
He's set to sign a new six-year contract at Manchester City and Phil Foden showed why Pep Guardiola has such faith in his with his display at Anfield.
A constant menace down the left-hand side, he clinically dispatched City's equaliser with a low driven effort past Alisson. His second of the season and you would imagine there's more to come.
Honourable mentions:
Goalkeeper: Aaron Ramsdale - Arsenal
A lot was made of Aaron Ramsdale's transfer to Arsenal but the former England U21 international has started well for Mikel Arteta's side.
He performed well against Brighton, even if he got a tad lucky in the first half and has done more than enough to keep Bernt Leno out the team for now.
Defender: Pontus Jansson - Brentford
He's waiting a long time for his Premier League chance but Pontus Jansson is making the most of it.
Part of an excellent Brentford back-line alongside Ethan Pinnock and Kristofer Ajer, Jansson helped the Bees claim a second Premier League away win as his stoppage time header was saved before Yoanne Wissa blasted home.
Midfielder: Heung-Min Son - Tottenham
In a difficult spell for Nuno's side, Son has been the shining light.
He was the difference again as Spurs overcame Aston Villa with the South Korean providing two assists in the 2-1 win.
Forward: Raul Jimenez - Wolves
So often Wolves' talisman, Jimenez was the provider for Hwang's brace as Wolves claimed their first win of the season.
It's early days but it feels like it's a partnership that might have the chance to flourish in coming weeks.
