Each week, Matchday FM pundit Chris Coughlin will bring you his Team of the Week from the top flight, as well as some honourable mentions who just missed the cut.
Goalkeeper: David De Gea - Man Utd
At times this season, De Gea has looked reborn and his stoppage time heroics at the London Stadium will do his confidence the world of good.
It was a battle of nerves between the Spaniard and West Ham captain Mark Noble who was meant to take the headlines after his substitution in order for him to take the late spot kick.
De Gea ensured that the glory was his, however, diving to his left to keep out Noble's effort and earn United yet another three points after coming from behind which they have made a remarkable habit of in recent seasons.
Right-wingback: Matty Cash - Aston Villa
The soon-to-be Poland international was a constant threat in Villa's new-look system on Saturday even before scoring the opening goal of the game.
He burst onto a pass from Douglas Luiz to get the better of Lucas Digne before rifling a left-foot rocket into the top corner of the Everton net.
Not a bad way to score your first goal for the club.
Centre-back: Jan Bednarek - Southampton
It was always going to be a backs-to-the-wall job at the Etihad for Southampton but they came away with a deserved point in no small part to the performance of Jan Bednarek.
The Pole stood firm in the face of City's incredible array of attacking options and was part of a defensive that restricted Pep Guardiola's side to just one shot on target.
Saints remain winless in the league so far this campaign but this could be a huge point in the long term.
Centre-back: Thiago Silva - Chelsea
An honourable mention last week, in my starting 11 this time around.
Thiago Silva might be heading towards the end of his career but his experience is helping Chelsea turn into a defensive machine as well as providing an attacking threat as he showed for his powerful header against Spurs.
The only goal the Blues have conceded so far in the league this season was a Mo Salah penalty in the 1-1 draw at Anfield meaning they haven't yet conceded from open play this season.
Centre-back: Antonio Rudiger - Chelsea
What a transformation Antonio Rudiger has had over the last year.
Cast aside by Frank Lampard at times, he is very much a key figure for Thomas Tuchel as part of Chelsea's defensive unit.
He added a late third for the Blues during their devastating second-half display against Tottenham, which will provide yet more reason for the club to tie him down to a contract extension as the German's deal is up at the end of the season.
Left-wingback: Marcos Alonso - Chelsea
Much like Rudiger, Marcos Alonso's transformation under Tuchel has been spectacular.
The left-back's time at the club looked to be coming to an end under Frank Lampard but, under the tenure of Tuchel, he's been one of Chelsea's star men this season and keeping Ben Chilwell out of the side in doing so.
He tormented Spurs throughout the game on Sunday and assisted Thiago Silva's breakthrough goal with a perfectly delivered corner.
Centre-midfield: Martin Odegaard - Arsenal
After a miserable start for Arsenal, which left them bottom of the table after three games, back-to-back wins have lifted the mood somewhat at the Emirates.
They emerged victorious from Saturday's trip to Turf Moor with Martin Odegaard's stunning free-kick claiming the spoils.
Arteta and co were very keen to bring the Norwegian back to North London after his loan spell last year from Real Madrid and, if he can keep delivering moments like that, he'll have been worth the investment.
Centre-midfield: Mateo Kovacic - Chelsea
The quality in Chelsea's midfield is utterly extraordinary which makes Kovacic's form more impressive.
The Croatian has started four the Blues five league games so far and put another superb all round display against Spurs, even if it is somewhat generous to say he claimed an assist for Kante's heavily deflected strike.
Right-wing: Ismaila Sarr - Watford
He's been linked with some of the biggest clubs in Europe and there is plenty to like about Watford's star man.
The 23-year-old Senegal international was integral to Watford's crucial win in their six-pointer at Carrow Road after his brace ultimately proved decisive in the battle between last season's automatically promoted sides from the Championship.
He showed predatory instincts to finish sharply at the near post to put the Hornets in front before following up when all around him were static to put the result beyond down.
Striker: Ivan Toney - Brentford
I like the way Brentford conduct their business on and off the pitch and Ivan Toney is an example of how well they do in both category.
Signed for an initial £5m last season from Peterborough, Toney enjoyed the best season any Championship striker has had this century to fire the Bees to promotion and this was his best performance of his Premier League career so far.
Toney converted from the spot in his typical relaxed fashion to give Thomas Frank's side a deserved lead at Wolves before perfectly picking out his striker partner Bryan Mbeumo to double the lead before half-time - a cushion that they never looked like giving up even after being reduced to 10 men.
Left-wing: Leon Bailey - Aston Villa
There's been plenty of buzz about the arrival from Bayer Leverkusen and Leon Bailey gave a glimpse of his quality last weekend.
In a 21 minute cameo, the Jamaican helped establish a two-goal lead for the Villains after his whipped cross was flicked into his own net by Lucas Digne before he charged through to emphatically net his first goal for the club in similar fashion to Cash, crashing a left-foot drive beyond Asmir Begovic.
Injury cut short his afternoon but the Villa faithful have been given a taster of what's to come.
Honourable mentions
Goalkeeper: Karl Darlow - Newcastle
What a game it was at St James' Park on Friday with both Darlow and Illan Meslier busy throughout.
Meslier, who has made the most saves in the league so far this season,
Defender: James Milner - Liverpool
Liverpool's Mr Reliable, James Milner had just hours to prepare to fill in at right-back for Trent Alexander-Arnold who was absent with illness but, in typical James Milner fashion, he was superb.
Up against Wilfried Zaha, who has had joy against the Reds in the past, Milner stuck to the Ivorian throughout with a remarkable display, covering 10.93km in the process at the age of 35.
Midfielder: Oriel Romeu - Southampton
As I mentioned earlier, it was always going to be hard work for Southampton at Man City but Romeu played his part in the Saints grinding out a point at the Etihad.
The Spaniards defensive-midfield performance was so good in fact that Pep Guardiola stated that Romeu is "one of the best midfield players in the Premier League."
High praise indeed.
Forward: Allan Saint-Maximin/Sadio Mane - Newcastle United/Liverpool
I wouldn't normally pick two players for this slot but I genuinely can't choose between the pair for different reasons.
Allan Saint-Maximin's performance on Friday night was a joy to behold. He was a constant menace throughout and throughly deserved his well taken goal. He's a player who loves to get fans out of their seats.
Sadio Mane, meanwhile, simply had to get recognition for two reasons. His goal against Crystal Palace was significant for being the wingers 100th goal in a Liverpool shirt and also made Mane a record breaker as he became the first player to score in nine successive Premier League games against the same opponent. The Eagles must be sick of the sight of him.
