Prepare for the race of the season so far, with another day of Group 1 action from the Qatar Goodwood festival.
It's a battle of the Guineas winners in the headline act of Wednesday's card, with Kameko coming up against Siskin in the Qatar Sussex Stakes, although a case could be made for all seven runners.

Mohaather stormed to victory in the Summer Mile at Ascot last time, while Circus Maximus is a three-time Group 1 winner, and Vatican City is impeccably bred.
Add in 2000 Guineas runner-up, and San Donato who was second behind Mohaather at Ascot, and you've got all the ingredients for an incredible spectacle.
Matchday FM pundits Harry Reynolds and Ben Wignall give their fancies for what looks a tremendous day of racing.
13.10 - British Stallion Studs EBF Fillies' Handicap
Harry Reynolds – Waliyak is a very skinny price for a competitive field, and with Andrew Balding’s yard still firing I’ll go with BE MORE to follow up her win at Sandown when upped to this trip for the first time. She was ahead of Asiaaf that day and she ran a screamer when just mowed down late in the finale on the opening day at Goodwood.
Ben Wignall – There’s not much to split this field at all, but a man who has been in good form recently is David Menuisier. He’s had four winners, a second and a third in his last eight runners, and DEAN STREET DOLL could give him more success here. The Oasis Dream filly was not beaten far at Sandown last time out and top jockey Ryan Moore is booked to ride once again.
13.45 - Unibet You're On Goodwood Handicap
HR – OLEG comes here on a hat-trick, and ridden by Hollie Doyle in red-hot form this could all set up well to give Paul Nicholls a success on the level, having been raised just three pounds for that last win.

BW – The Marsh Cup at Newbury had some strong stayers compete just over a week ago, and BLUE LAUREATE was a staying on fourth that day for Ian Williams and renews his rivalry with a few others in this race. This one looks like a pretty open contest and it may be worth taking some value.
14.15 - Unibet 3 Boosts A Day Handicap
HR – I’ve a feeling CARLOS FELIX will prove to be a pretty smart horse. Although he took advantage of a small field and keen rivals on his last win, he seems very straight forward and there could be any amount of improvement yet to come.
BW – Carlos Felix destroyed the field at Ascot last time out, but that was in a four-runner race and he will find things much tougher this time around. WIN O’CLOCK was well fancied to win the King George V handicap at Royal Ascot but could only manage seventh place. He doesn’t carry much weight here with Thomas Greatrex taking a further three pounds off.
14.45 - Markel Insurance Molecomb Stakes (Group 3)
HR – There were strong whispers from Ireland about STEEL BULL following his debut win, and Colin Keane takes the ride here ahead of his engagement on Siskin. He’s already been well supported, and any further money will only boost confidence.
BW – Aidan O’Brien sends Chief Little Hawk over from Ireland but after his debut victory he’s been pretty expensive to follow. I’ll go with SARDINIA SUNSET instead, who landed the Marygate Stakes at York last time out comfortably. Rossa Ryan picks up a nice ride here for Roger Varian and claims a three-pound fillies allowance.

15.15 - Qatar Sussex Stakes (Group 1)
HR – Despite the fact his price is poor value, and Kameko and Siskin are both Classic winners, MOHAATHER could just be an absolute beast. He flew home in the Summer Mile at Ascot to prove he stays the trip, and Marcus Tregoning’s horses are running supremely well. Vatican City could be a big player based on pedigree as a brother to 2000 Guineas winner Gleneagles, and has been forgotten about in the market. Circus Maximus always runs his race too and was excellent in this when second to Too Darn Hot a year ago.
BW – This could very well be the race of the season so far, with multiple Group One winners in the field. Ger Lyons sends the unbeaten Siskin across the water but my money is going on KAMEKO, who was really impressive at Newmarket when winning the 1000 Guineas. Circus Maximus is really overpriced though at 7/1 and it wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest if at least five of the seven runners are battling it out with a furlong to go.
15.45 - British Stallion Studs Alice Keppel EBF Fillies' Conditions Stakes
HR – Spright was mightily impressive when striking at York, but I will take her on with MISS JINGLES who has a better pedigree. She is a full sister to Group 3 winner Sound and Silence, and clearly knew her job well when winning at Sandown a week ago.
BW – After finishing runner-up at 50/1 on debut, SPRIGHT destroyed the field at York next time out, and turns out just under two weeks later for this conditions race. Karl Burke’s filly makes the long trip down from Yorkshire and is probably a worthy favourite for this.
16.20 - Theo Fennell Handicap
HR – We’ve already seen Mark Johnston find his way to the winner’s enclosure at a festival that he loves, and I think he’ll go in again with MOUNTAIN BRAVE. The son of Sepoy has won four of his last five starts, and this front runner could prove too hard to pass again.
BW – A tough one to work out to conclude day two, VERBOTEN drops down in trip and class after finishing out the back of the field in the Britannia at Royal Ascot. He has a wide draw to overcome but he still may have something left in the tank, and we all know how good a combination John Gosden and Frankie Dettori are.
